Migrate Download Area

The current "stable" version of Migrate is 2.1.3

I distribute the program as source and as precompiled binary for a few well known operating systems. The source code can be compiled using a decent C-compiler (Microsoft's compiler package can compile Migrate, but I still need to write up a short note on how to do this correctly). In all packages you will find the following additional files: README, HISTORY, and migrate.html with which you can connect directly to the website.

You need also to download the documentation (it is not included in the source).

If you download a package, Please register (It is not mandatory but it is a courtesy! So that I know how many try to use Migrate and so that I am also able to report current registrations to granting agencies [and my evaluation committee]).

In the directory Pre-releases you can find minor updates, often these are not available for all operating systems, but include bug-fixes and new methods. The bleeding edge can be found in the daily_build directory (in Pre-releases), but these are always experimental and have (a small) chance tht they they will not work on your system.

Older version can be found here.

Don't forget to fetch the documentation from above. NOTE that the "macosx commandline"
is a really a command line program [O'Reilly's Tutorial about MacosX Terminal] and not a
double clickable application, try the miggui if you want an easier interface.

Registration

Please register if you download something of the above
[why register?:
(1) I can tell my funding agencies that the program is useful,
(2) I can see what binaries are asked for
(3) Registered users will get email [perhaps one to three per year] concerning
important updates and new major versions.

(I will never distribute the email-list to other parties)]
